| There has been a three week gap following the Bahrain Grand Prix won by Felipe Massa. The test teams have been busy, conducting a four day test at Circuit de Catalunya. While rain his the final day of running, Massa again topped the timesheets for Ferrari overall over the week with a best time of 1:18.339s. |

| It would be foolish to read too much into the test times however, as many opted to run slick tyres and various levels of downforce in readiness for the regulation changes at the end of the season. |
